Leading European motorcycle and powersports gear retailer Swedish Pierce Group has signed an extension to its successful strategic partnership with Sniffie, a leading pricing automation platform for retail and e-commerce. Over the past three years, the two companies have closely collaborated to revolutionize Pierce’s pricing operations, ensuring automated, profitable and competitive pricing across 16+ markets. This strategic partnership builds on a solid and lean foundation. The aim is to leverage real-time data to optimize profitability and ensure spot on pricing with compliance across the group’s expansive product catalog.

Like many online businesses, Pierce Group has navigated the challenging post-COVID years, facing high competition in a rapidly changing international market. Sniffie’s solution played an instrumental role in helping Pierce tackle the complexities of profitable pricing during this period. As Pierce looks to the future and continues expanding its presence across Europe, the extended partnership will ensure that the company’s pricing strategies remain agile, data-driven, and future-proof.

Innovation needs close co-operation

This announcement marks another chapter in the co-operation, built on a model of close collaboration between the teams. The Customer Success team at Sniffie, led by Lia Strandberg, has worked closely with Pierce’s pricing and management teams to tailor the platform to Pierce’s specific needs. The two companies will maintain their bi-weekly development cycles, with a strong focus on continued innovation and customization of Sniffie’s platform to support Pierce’s growing needs. Pricing more than 2 million products in an hour is an industrial process that can’t have either mistakes or misunderstandings.

One of the key persons on Pierce’s side has been their Pricing Manager, Pawel Kotwas, who has closely managed the bi-weekly development cycles with Sniffie. Pawel has played an essential role in aligning Sniffie’s platform development with Pierce’s business goals, and the collaboration has been a key driver of Pierce’s success.
